Staffing Arrangements

Responsible Individual: Jay Bailey. Jay has worked with young people in care to the Community Mental Health Team (AOS) Assertive Outreach Service, which he was an original member of and has valuable experience working with adult Mental Health Services. Jay has been striving to support and enrich others’ lives and created the idea for ARC.

Owner/Directors

Becky Pearce-Bailey set up ARC with Jay to provide a better quality of care for individuals in the community and to create a homely, caring, quality environment for the betterment of the individuals. Becky has over 20 years working within the health services, 13 years of which were in the Crisis Team, collaborating with Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, and management. Becky collaborated with a team in the community and was working with the most vulnerable and at risk in society, at times dealing with violence and aggression. Becky has always been driven to provide support, care, and a better standard of life for the residents and alongside Jay, created the idea of ARC and worked tirelessly to bring this to fruition.

Director of Services/Registered Manager

Will Cook. Will has a large amount of experience within Children’s Services, having worked within it for 20 years, and has been managing homes over the last 10 years. Will’s experience of the care sector and managing teams allows him to lead a team effectively and compassionately. Will has experience dealing professionally with external care providers, CIW, OFSTED, and support services. Will has a genuine passion to provide the best care and support to the individuals he and his team care for. Will has achieved his NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Care Management.

Monitoring and surveillance

The home has a series of CCTV cameras on the external areas of the home, these are to provide safety and security to the home. These are monitored and used in evidence for any concern or investigation.
The home has two staff on waking night shifts from 20:00-08:00 and 2/3 staff on day shifts from 08:00-20:00 alongside the management team.
The front and back doors have a keypad entry and exit system. Due to the nature of some of the individuals they are unable to have this code due to the risk and danger they pose to themselves if in the community alone or unattended, any individual is able to exit and enter as they wish and will be given support and guidance in this as well as advice from their care manager team.
